A Family Affair
The Whitsand Bay Hotel has been family run for more than 7 years, when proprietors Chris and Jennifer Phillips fell in love with the property back in June 2003. This stunning Victorian manor house became their 7th acquisition from a long line of successful hospitality businesses owned by the Phillips family, including one of Chippenham’s most famous and award winning pubs, The White Hart.
Chris and Jennifer run the hotel together with the rest of the family members Tracey, Paul and John. Together they are all involved in the day to day running of the hotel, from reception and housekeeping to the general maintenance of the grounds and gardening. Expect to see the whole family on hand, including grandchildren Jonathan, Chloe and Victoria with occasional appearances from the two younger ones when they are out playing.
