Profile- Andy Welch, Head PGA Professional/Golf Manager
Andy Welch is the resident PGA Qualified Golf Professional at Whitsand Bay Hotel and Golf Club. A former junior player at Whitsand Bay, Andy returned to take up the Head Professional’s post in 2009, following stints at both Trethorne and Boringdon Park. An active player as well as competing both nationally and regionally, Andy’s other passion is teaching.
Cornwall County Academy Coach
Using modern, tried and tested methods, Andy's flexible approach means lessons can be tailored to bring out the best in each individual’s game, from beginners through to low handicap players. Experienced at both group and individual tuition, Andy is a Cornwall County Academy coach, a position that involves nurturing the County’s up and coming young players.
